RECEPTIONISTS' ASSOCIATION
Printer friendly version
of the form.
The British Dental
Receptionists Association (BDRA) was founded in 2002. Previous to this,
receptionists were the only group within the dental profession not to
have a representative body.
As a nationally recognised
qualification for dental receptionists is already in
place, the BDRA aims to clarify the developing role of receptionist as
the front of house representative of dental businesses, with proficiency
in the skills of both the health care and service sector and establish
professional status for receptionists
THE AIMS OF BDRA ARE TO:
-
Define the role of receptionist
-
Offer opportunities for the skills development
-
Represent receptionists within the profession to gain
professional status
-
Provide a channel of communication between
receptionists
-
To provide pay guidelines
The BDRA
centers its activates on the Internet whilst recognizing that membership
benefits need to be made available to all members irrespective of the IT
