It is with regret that the BDRA Executive announces that the British Dental Receptionist Association will be discontinued from 31.12.06.

Since our formation during 2002, a number of receptionists have freely given generously of their time and skills to play a role on the Association's Executive. Unfortunately we have not been able to attract enough active members to sustain the Association's growth.

During March 2006, it became necessary to cancel our Annual Conference due to lack of bookings, this had a serious effect upon the morale of the Executive and we have been unable to replace those who resigned as a result of this disappointment.

We have now ceased to accept applications for membership renewals and new membership applications. Full membership services will be provided to existing members until 31st December 2006.

From 1st January 2007, The Dental Resource Company will offer BDRA members free membership the DRC Receptionists Group. They will receive a quarterly electronic newsletter, a telephone support line and discounted training opportunities. BDRA members wishing to subscribe should forward their e-mail details to admin@dental-resource.com.
